| SAREX 2006
Driving Directions Two major highways bisect Wagoner -- US 69 in the North-South direction and State highway 51 in the East-West direction. Unless you are traveling from the East, you will need to arrive in Wagoner to access Lake Fort Gibson. Traveling East from Tulsa on highway 51 – At the stoplight where US 69 and OK 51 intersect, turn right (South) on US 69. Go approximately 1 mile to the first stoplight at S.W. 15th Street (Citgo located on Southeast corner of intersection). Turn left and go 1.5 miles. At the stop sign, turn left and cross the railroad tracks. After crossing the railroad tracks, turn right onto OK 51. Follow OK 51 for 5.2 miles (you will come to the Taylor Ferry area that is made up of one hotel, one-stops and storage lockers). As you crest the hill on the East side of the Taylor Ferry area, you will be looking down onto Lake Fort Gibson. Halfway down the hill, turn left (North) at the sign for Taylor Ferry Marina. One quarter-mile north of OK 51 is the entrance to Taylor Ferry Marina. Follow signs for SAREX parking, boat launching and the Marina Motel. Traveling North from Muskogee on US 69 – At the first stoplight (S.W. 15th Street) as you come into Wagoner (Citgo will be on your right at the stoplight), turn right and go 1.5 miles. At the stop sign, turn left and cross the railroad tracks. After crossing the railroad tracks, turn right onto OK 51. Follow OK 51 for 5.2 miles (you will come to the Taylor Ferry area that is made up of one hotel, one-stops and storage lockers).
